Ms Maria Lalremruatai, Coordinator, Zo Indigenous Forum for the first time attended the 2 Session of Expert mechanism on the Rights of the Indigenous People which was held From 10 to 14 August 2009, in Room XX of the Palais des Nations, at the United Nations Office in Geneva, Switzerland.
During the Meeting she has a good meeting and consultation with International Expert and other International and Regional Level and she was requested to present a paper on the forthcoming conference in bangkok on the issue of Climate Chang e and the Zo People (We will write details about this conference).
She only represented the Zo Indigenous Forum and not other NGO.
