Addressing a seminar on integration of Mizo tribes held in District Industries Centre, Saiha today, the Minister also underlined the need for broad-mindedness and accommodation of others’ view.
The Minister said, this will foster the pace of development in the state. Referring to the preparation for opening Boarder Trade with Myanmar in South Mizoram, the Minister also asked the people to prepare themselves mentally to catch up the new opportunity.
The seminar was also addressed by the Parliamentary Secretary, Mr. S.Laldingliana who graced the function as the Guest of Honour.
In this seminar, a topic on ‘Integration of Mizo tribes through culture and tradition’s was presented by Dr. Lianchhinga of Lunglei.
Another topic on ‘Integration through economic activities’ was presented by Mrs. Laldawii. Presentation of the papers was followed by discussions.
The seminar was jointly organised by Chhimtuipui Academy of Letters Saiha, Lawngtlai Academy of Letters and Mizo Academy of Letters, Joint Headquarters Lunglei.
