From 27th - 30th March 2013, a team of Zo Indigenous Forum and Chin Human Rights Organisation visited the Kaladan Multi Modal Transit Transport Project site in India near Lawngtlai, in the Southern part of of Mizoram which bordered with Myanmar (Burma).They have meeting with the land owners of the Kaladan Multi Modal Transit Transport Project land owners association and discuss the challenges and problems that they have and how they can work together to promote and protect the rights of the land owners which the community depend on it for their livelihood.
The joint team also have an important meeting with the largest community based organisation among the Lai people Central Young Lai Association (CYLA) at their office and discuss the ways to reslove the challenges and also met the Lai students body Lai Students Association (LSA) General Headquarters
