In fact, today ...correction & continuation....

In fact, today those who claimed to be Mizos (less than 1 million) are just a fragment of a much bigger Zohnathlak (9 million). If we don't know this, we have a long way to go before we can talk about unity and let alone claiming our RIGHTS as you seem to have espoused; who will listen to us?!!Samhttp://samaw.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2064927608146235015.post-17202880229939458622009-05-05T04:19:00.000+05:302009-05-05T04:19:00.000+05:30For the article to be acceptable to everyone, you ...For the article to be acceptable to everyone, you must have inclusive writeup for everyone within what you described them as Zohnathlak. The beginning part sounds great but later on it sounds like Zohnathlak are a sort of homogeneous people speaking one common language which is far from true. The dialects you've described are not dialects either. Many of them are a language on their own.

Lushai now known as Mizo was reduced to writing by UK Baptist missionaries, likewise Mara was reduced to a written language by their missionary Rev. Lorrain, likewise our brethren in Chin Hills too have their own written language due to the good work by American Baptist missionaries. Likewise, Thadous (Kukis) too have their own written and spoken language.

The problem is among us. We do not know how diverse we are. Unity can be achieved by respecting our unique diverse nature.

And also, when you promote all the tribes equally, then there will be unity and understanding. Otherwise, it is just another Mizo (perhaps Lushai) fellow trying to assert its dominance over other brothers in the name of our common heritage and in the name of Zo or Zohnathlak. In fact, today those who claimed Mizos (less than 1 million) are just a fragment of a much bigger Zohnathlak (9 million). If we don't know this, we have a long way to go before we can talk about unity.Samhttp://samaw.comnoreply@blogger.com
