Aizawl, Dec 11 (PTI) Mizoram Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla today said a road map for the repatriation of Bru refugees from Tripura has been prepared and sanctioned by the Union Home Ministry and it is now on them to accept it and return.
In his statement on the occasion of his government completing one year, Lal Thanhawla said the government has always agreed to bring back the bona fide Bru citizens of Mizoram, now lodged in the six relief camps in Tripura.
He said negotiations through bilateral and sometimes tripartite meetings for the repatriation of the genuine Bru citizens of Mizoram had been held and it is now for the Brus to accept the offer of the state and the central governments
