Aizawl, Dec 25 (PTI) Special prayers and services marked Christmas celebrations in the Christian-dominated north-eastern state of Mizoram today. Aizawl district SP Lalbiakthanga Khiangte said that no untoward incident was reported from anywhere. Christmas day saw prayers and worship services in the houses of worship, followed by fellowships from where typical Mizo Christmas songs echoed the streets of Aizawl city. Community feasts, customary Mizo festivals even before the advent of Christianity would be organised in all the villages and localities of urban areas tomorrow climaxing the celebrations marking the birth of Jesus Christ.
